By selecting any vessel, users can view detailed information such as name, MMSI, IMO, call sign, status, speed, heading, coordinates, distance from your current GPS location, and more.

At a glance, the app provides access to comprehensive worldwide marine and outdoor maps through viewer.flytomap.com. Satellite imagery overlays enhance chart detail across the globe, complemented by terrain features via open-source data from OpenStreetMap, OpenCycleMap, and ESRI topographic maps. Seamless NOAA raster charts are regularly updated through official government servers.

The ActiveCaptain community connects over 200,000 boaters globally, fostering a collaborative environment for mariners.
